Old Stables is a brand identity I created for a small, family-run farm retreat tucked away near the Magaliesburg mountains. What started as a thoughtful project to gently bring a neglected property back to life grew into a complete identity system designed for both digital and print.  The heart of the project was about embracing a slower, more honest way of sharing the farm's story. While standard travel branding often relies on high-pressure sales and overly styled layouts, this project focuses entirely on a quiet, unhurried feel that mirrors the space itself.

The goal was to build something that feels warm, authentic, and deeply grounded, showing the farm as a welcoming countryside home rather than a formal resort. I created the flexible logo architecture, a natural colour palette drawn straight from the landscape, simple typography, and a set of clean icons. I also curated the photography guidelines, website layouts, social media frameworks, and physical guest touchpoints.
